Biography

Zijian Wang is currently a Research Assistant with the Department of Computing, The Hong Kong Polytechnic University, Hong Kong, China. Before that, he received B.Eng. degree and M.Sc. degree from the Hong Kong Metropolitan University and The Chinese University of Hong Kong in 2023 and 2024, respectively. His research interests include Natural Language Processing, Large Language Model and Multi-Agent System.

    • Studied LLM architecture modifications (encoder-to-MoE transitions, customized loss functions).
    • Surveyed Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) applications in education, analyzing 50+ studies.
    • Served as a reviewer for ACL, EMNLP, and Natural Language Processing Journal.
    • Assisted in research proposals and lecture material preparation.
